Gold Rush

As seen on the runways of Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, and Marchesa.  Gold is one of the colors that flatters any skin tone.  It will brighten and make the color of your eyes pop.  It can be dressed up by adding black or brown eyeliner for evening or just a light dusting of the gold on the top and bottom lids for daytime dazzle.  I always suggest using 2-3 coats of mascara day or night.

The trick to selecting gold eye shadow is to pick the warmest color that blends with your skin tone.  Fair skin should use more light yellow golds while olive or ebony skin should lean more toward bronze and darker metallics.  You can also use the 24K gold dust (as seen in the picture above) to highlight your cheek bones and brow bones.

I am so obsessed with glitter nail polish.  I seriously wear it ALL the time!  What could be better than sparkling 24/7 without having to worry about jewelry?  {Not to say that I don't love to wear a great cocktail ring.}  Glitter nail polish keeps you looking fun, fashionable, and flirty all the time.

I'm really crushing on all the great colors Deborah Lippmann has to offer.  This nail polish is great quality and easy to apply. I always wear two coats of glitter polish and a thick glossy top coat.  One of the fabulous things about glitter nail polish is that you don't have to worry about it chipping the next day.  It tends to last a long time.
