Perfect Thanksgiving Day Outfit

The Season for Wearing Red

So this is by far my most favorite time of the year.  Starbucks has switched to holiday cups, the surfers are wearing full wetsuits, decorations are going up, and yes the shopping season is upon us. So let's break out our festive reds and go shopping.

Marisa Stewart The High Heeled Brunette at Westfield Century City Los Angeles shopping destination.

I paired my go to black jeans with this perfect red flared top.  As always the shoes are the base for my outfits. With the flare at the waist I felt I needed to go with a higher heeled boot. Be cautious of flats with a flared waist as it may give the appearance of shorter legs, never want that.

Look at these sleeves so much fun. This is the perfect top for coffee and some pastries. Be careful with these sleeves if you are eating pasta, very easy for them to get dipped in the sauce accidentally. Just take my word for it.

Simple makeup, bright red lips and a bold sparkling necklace are perfect with this outfit.

High boots pair great with any coat. I decided to keep with the black. Black just makes the red pop and really looks good.

Ok Jack Frost I am ready for winter.
Love my coat and the detail of the boot zipper on the back of my boots really make this a perfect outfit for outdoor mall shopping.  Don't let the Palm tree in the background fool you, It gets cold here.

Monochromatic Sundress Outfit from Nordstrom

I hope you're all having a fun summer!! I normally don't wear many dresses, but I thought it would be fun to switch things up and put on a sundress. I love bright blue and couldn't help buying this dress at Nordtrom. It wasn't even on sale!
I decided to go for a monochromatic outfit and paired everything with this cobalt blue color. Just by luck my sunnies happened to match. This dress is perfect for a beach vacation, lunch with the girls, even a baby or wedding shower. If there is a chilly wind you could throw on a cardigan with this dress. I think it would look really nice. If I wasn't going to go monochromatic, I would pair this dress with nude, black or white shoes and a matching bag. I still love a great statement necklace and mirrored sunnies are super trendy this season.

Thank you for stopping by and reading my post! I'd love to hear what you thought of my outfit. What do you think of monochromatic outfits? For more fashion and style inspiration please follow me on Instagram here.

OOTD - Love my Pink Jacket!

I hope you all had a fun weekend!  This is the outfit I wore to go out to dinner with some friends Friday night.  This pink Valentino Red Jacket is one of my favorite pieces.

I love the gold zipper in the back of the boots.  I'm also obsessed with the pleats in the back of the jacket.  It gives it so much style and just a little extra touch to make it special.

OOTD & Neiman Marcus Holiday Party

I finally took a much needed little break from work and went out with the hubs for date night.  We decided to go out to dinner, shopping and a movie.  I wanted to stop by Neiman Marcus for their holiday party and that is where we snapped this pic.
I decided to mix it up a little and pair a sequin top with a leather jacket and boots.  Cobalt blue is so on trend this season and is such a great pop of color.  It really makes the outfit come to life.  I am absolutely crazy about this jacket.  And as you all know I love bling! So I added the sequin top and my bag.  This is a great go to date night outfit.
BTW...I had to stop by and take a picture with Hunky Santa.

What do you love to wear out on date nights?

Leather Jacket: Royal Underground
Boots: Jimmy Choo
Jeans: C of H
Sequin Top: Forever 21
Purse: Loubuotin

OOTD - Going out to lunch!

I was meeting a friend for lunch at the beautiful Century City Mall near Beverly Hills.  It was overcast, but the weather was still nice.  I thought I would put together this beautiful flower embroidered white sheer top with my favorite skinny jeans.  I absolutely love these Dolce Vita Wedges.  They are the most comfortable shoes, I own them in 3 colors!  My favorite jewlery designer is Stephen Webster and the hubs surprised me with this ring for my birthday last year.
Lunch was great!  It's always fun to catch up with old friends and you can't beat eating outdoors when the weather is beautiful.
Where's your favorite lunch spot?

OOTD Running Around

I looked out the window this morning, saw the sun shining, and immediately thought I need to wear some bright jeans.  Electric blue is my 2nd favorite color.  Knowing today was going to be a busy day of errands, I knew I needed to be comfortable.  But compfort is no excuse to be frumpy!  So I put together this cute spring outfit.

Accessorizing is a must.  I love to bring the outfit together by adding a splash of color with some fun jewelry.

And to finish off the look I chose some super cute flats that would be comfy while I ran around all day.

What's your favorite thing to wear while running errands?
