All About Polka Dots

Hello to all my friends out in the blogland.  I am sure all of you fashionistas have been out and about in your favorite stores and noticed the fun trend of polka dots. I love polka dots! Nothing says I am just out having fun like polka dots. With how busy and overstressed all of us are it is nice to just take some time and enjoy yourself. I think pairing the light hearted fun of this sweater with the dramatic flare of high heeled over the calf boots simply states "I am fun, but yes I should be taken serious". The red pants definitely help get you noticed.

The gold zipper centered on the back of this boots gives a slimming effect while the high heel elongates the leg. Jimmy Choo always makes a girl feel confident.

This sweater fits perfect comes right to the hips and fits the shoulders. Never want a boxy sweater.

These sunglasses where just so much fun I needed to have them.

Fun with Color + Marabou

Hello to all my blogger friends. I was on my way back from lunch with a few close friends today when I passed by this beautiful Bougainvillea (yes I used spell check) and knew I needed to get some pics in front of it. Not sure how long they last in your area, but I know this one only has bright colored flowers for a few weeks. The signature piece of this outfit is my Amanda Uprichard top. Love the vibrant colors.

Can't forget your shades. The fun blue mirror tint on these just drew me in and I knew they would be perfect with this outfit. Mirrored glasses are going to be everywhere this summer.

Stepping up in my favorite Rocker vibe heels. Just had to make sure the studs on my shoes coordinate with the ones on my bag. Honestly, the leather tassle makes the bag.

A marabou vest is one of the the essentials for a girl who wants to have some fun. You can't see it the picture but when the wind blows the marabou starts to wave and gives a whole new dimension to the outfit.

Just having a bit of fun.

The always popular skinny black jeans and high heels.

Emerald Green Eyes

One of the hottest trends in makeup right now is a bright bold emerald green. I love emerald green. Whether you are deepening the sultry look of naturally darker colored eyes or intensifying the radiance of lighter colored eyes emerald green is the color for you. Shimmering emerald green eyeshadow creates an irresistible frame for your eyes drawing attention to and highlighting that sparkle we all have when we know we are having fun. Here are some of my favorite looks.  Try one of these and surely his phone number is just a matter of batting your flawless look a couple times.

This vibrant color is a trend that works on all skin tones. That's the beauty of emerald green. I would advise to use darker greens on fair to medium skin tones and lighter green on darker skin tones. A bright green can work on any skin tone. You can also use it as a smoky eye since green acts as a neutral. I also love mixing greens with blues and purples. If you are going to go bright or dark I always advise a nude lip or if you're feeling daring try a red.

Thanks for visiting my blog! I read all of your comments and love them!

Oscars Red Carpet 2014

My favorite part of an award show is the fashion, of course. I just love to watch the red carpet arrivals.
My top 3 favorites!
It is no surprise that 2 of my favorites for best dressed wore Dior. I absolutely love Dior!
 Charlize Theron in Dior.

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior.

Cate Blanchett in Armani.

I picked Lupita Nyong'o for most original color. She is wearing Prada
You can often find trends of the season on the red carpet. These can be translated into everyday pieces.
Kristin Chenoweth in Cavalli and Jennifer Garner in Oscar de la Renta.

Jessica Biel in Chanel and Angelina Jolie in Elie Saab.

Anna Kendrick in J Mendel and Margot Robbie in Saint Laurent by Heidi Slimane.

Who were your faves on the red carpet?
Thank you for reading my blog. Your comments make my day!!
